Who we are!

Tesoro is a non-profit organization that partners with Potter’s House Association International in Guatemala City, Guatemala to offer weeklong interprofessional rehabilitation service projects to people without access to physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.

Our vision is an inspired global healthcare network that enhances the quality of life in underserved communities

Tesoro means "treasure" in Spanish and this is the term that Potter's House Association uses to describe the people who work in the garbage dump. In our eyes, everyone is treasure.

Homes built for families residing next to the garbage dump in Guatemala City. We also have built a sanitation station and protection wall in Chiquimula, Guatemala. 

We have extended our area of service to Chiquimula, Guatemala by providing a one-day rehabilitation clinic in El Barreal community, the local police department, and a local community center.

Individuals have received physical and occupational therapy services
